I was there and me a Blade ! Think the North Stand area was open land and there were still 60000 in the ground Knew what a sardine in a tin felt like stood on the Leppings Lane end Everybody as far as I can remember entered and exited without a problem, unlike events of recent years and weeks ! It was a bit tight on the kop too. If I remember rightly, reserve team GK Roy McLaren played in the match and made a fantastic save at the Leppings Lane end. NERVY-OWL Â Â 192 #19 Posted September 27, 2019 Their run has to end sometime. If your going to upset the top teams it's likely to be at home so who knows. No one will of given Norwich a chance the other week against city but still came through to win. It's a free hit really, in your shoes I'd rather us go for it abit and lose even if it turns out to be a heavy defeat
 Share this content via...

Fantham got the winner but I don't remember who else scored. It finished 2-1.  Found it on the internet. It was Billy Griffin, and Maurice Norman for Spurs. petcharlie   10 #23 Posted September 28, 2019 I just hope Liverpool do not get one of those penalties that they got last time they were here at the Lane. When the ref gave them one because the defender THOUGHT about fouling Gerrard losing us two points which could have kept us up .Then Man UTD fielded a bunch of kids against West Ham who had that guy called Treves what ever his name was who should not have been playing and who scored the winner at Old Trafford that kept them up and people wonder why I do not like the Prem.
