tinfoilhat   11 #3 Posted September 24, 2019 Riots I think, threats against the judiciary both on line and on the front pages of certain papers  Leavers won’t like this at all. They were very comfortable with Johnson’s lies.
 Share this content via...

Seems to me quite a few in parliament would be happy to stay in the EU, and are actively pursuing such an end; against the will of he people.  Who is holding them to account? Some were calling for Parliament to keep open, just have the conferences without MPs. This is Parliaments most important time, they get enough time off as it is, Parliament should be open. Top Cats Hat   10 #12 Posted September 24, 2019 The judgement also said that Parliament can reconvene at any time without any action by Bozo, as technically it was never suspended.  One reason that the government lost the case was that Johnson failed to provide the Supreme Court with a sworn affidavit outlying the reasons for asking the queen for a prorogation. A barrister on one of the political shows last week said that the reason for this was most likely that if he did that and the prorogation was found unlawful, he could find himself in jail for effectively lying to the Supreme Court as well as the monarch.
