Sheffbeth   0 #1 Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) I am getting married in Sheffield and do not have a church there. I would like to figure out which are the most beautiful and start my search with those!  Edit: just out of Sheff would be fine, as long as its not too far. Edited September 12, 2019 by Sheffbeth
 Share this content via...

*_ash_* Â Â 88 #7 Posted September 12, 2019 Bradfield and Ranmoor already mentioned, and I would second those. Â Ecclesfield (like Bradfield) is also grade one listed. Â
 Share this content via...
Arthur Ritus   30 #8 Posted September 12, 2019 Do you not still marry in the brides parish church? Also it would have to be the appropriate denomination presumably.
 Share this content via...
Chez2   10 #9 Posted September 12, 2019 Consider where you take the photos not just the beauty of the church. Does it have to be a church?  As posted above; I think the bride has to be resident for a short period of time at least.
 Share this content via...

Agent Orange   11 #11 Posted September 13, 2019 (edited) Bradfield is very nice.  Be mindful that, with some churches, if you do not live in the parish and are not active in the church, they may not marry you. I know Bradfield does accept applications from outside the parish; however, you have to attend church for a specified period beforehand. I believe you have to go for 10 consecutive weeks though how they check, I don’t know.
 Share this content via...
