Does anyone remember Glen Dale and the Candies (Candy's)?

I remember him with the Fortunes,the last time I saw him on stage he was solo and a very good Artiste too

Yeah, I remember him with the Fortunes but I thought he later fronted a band called the Candies.  I can't find any reference to this (hence the post) so I might be cracking up!

Glen Dale,real name Richard Garforth died on the 13th of January aged79.

He lived for most of his life in Eckington and died in Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.
