Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Again with "elite" nonsense.

Are you really telling us Boris Alexander DePiffle Johnson and his ilk are not part of an elite? Honest sons of the soil are they?

Apparently the only way to rid us of the scourge of the 'elites' is to blindly follow privileged Eton educated millionaires into a paradise of equality.

It helps if you can also bury your head firmly in your own anus.

Must be what they meant, when they were asking remainers to show more flexibility

George Galloway on Twitter:

"To Leave the EU may be a judgement call but to uphold democracy is not and transcends all other issues. It is profoundly dangerous to tell 17.4 million people their vote can be ignored even annulled because the elite don’t accept the result. Without democracy we have nothing."

The EU didn't protect us from Thatcher and the Poll Tax.

Let's get Brexit done then we can all sit down with a nice cuppa

You know you are desperate when you resort to George Galloway to support your arguments.

The only main leaders involved in the recent attempt to resolve Brexit, who are acting honourably and can hold their heads up high are Boris, President Macron and  Jean-Claude Juncker because they are the only ones that haven't been willing to entertain lame excuses for another extension to Article 50 beyond 31st October.

On one of the news channels they had a report from Broxtowe  and those interviewed wanted a General Election. The MP for Broxtowe  is Anna Soubry the leader of CHANGE-UK,  who doesn't want a General Election  because she says nothing will change after a General Election. Anna Soubry is wrong because the democratic people of Broxtowe will have a change of MP after the General Election.

Most Remainer MPs demand that another referendum takes place before a general election (a referendum without the option to vote for a no deal Brexit BUT with an option to vote for the already rejected Remain). But a referendum can never happen in this zombie Parliament, it has very little support - apart from a few anti-democracy extremists.

The EU didn't protect us from the sale of council houses.  The EU exists to protect four basic freedoms for business.

Why should the Opposition Alliance want that? They are the effective government with a majority. They can control the Parliamentary timetable at will. Time to live up to reality.

They should do it to break the Brexit deadlock and because the Tories are already campaigning for a general election. Controlling the parliamentary timetable of a zombie Parliament appears to most voters that just want to get Brexit done is that they are more concerned with drawing their salaries than breaking any impasse.

Anna Soubry was elected to Parliament for a five year term.

She is entitled to serve that term.

A weak government is exactly what we need right now. Johnson and his maniac cronies can only pass legislation which is approved by all sides of the house. This consensus led government is exactly what we need.

Letting Corbyn or Johnson loose with a majority, could be very damaging.

Let’s stick with our current, democratically elected parliament.

Actually she wasn't, and also isn't entitled to serve the full term. She was elected to serve for up to five years under the fixed term parliament act or until parliament is dissolved, whichever is the sooner.
