Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

All this control restored to the not-at-all 'remote, out-of-touch, distant elite' of the Conservative party, seems to be working well for the good people of Poole so far: Poole gets told their A&E is at risk of closure by Conservative government, still elects Tory MP (with stomping 19k majority), sees A&E closure confirmed weeks later by Tory Health Minister.

The parallels of the above with the Brexit proceedings, now fully controlled by the not-at-all 'remote, out-of-touch, distant elite' of the Conservative party, are quite amusing.

I have to ask, who are the good people of Poole blaming?

Taking back control. Removing a remote, out of touch, distant elite of the ruling class.

Decentralising power back to the people.

We never lost control. The "ruling class" as you like to call them will feel espoused and "the people" were given power for 1 referendum only.  As a result we are now very vulnerable. The "ruling class" made a great catch and we are in the net irrespective of how we voted. 😟

Whoever the not-at-all 'remote, out-of-touch, distant elite' of the Conservative party tell them to, through relevant tabloid mouthpieces.

They're not exactly short of options: FoM-uncontrolled immigrants, benefits-abusing types and other ne'er-do-wells, incapable Trusts/management, junior doctors, the intransigeant EU, Meghan Markle...

Needed you to ask? ;)

EDIT - there was a glaring omission in my list of culpables above: remainers, of course

:D

Closure? Or move to improve it?

But Debbie Fleming the joint chief executive of the hospitals said the changes were planned specifically to meet increasing demand on their services.

As part of the planned overhaul of the NHS in Dorset, it is proposed that the emergency department in Poole be downgraded to an urgent treatment centre in 2023 with a more specialised A&E centre developed in Bournemouth.

Ms Fleming said they were investing £147 million “to ensure a sustainable future that will improve patient outcomes”.

“The changes we are planning have been developed with our partners across Dorset to ensure we do cope with the increased demands on emergency departments and indeed all our services,” she said.

maybe the "good people of Poole" did not vote Tory.

As long as the people complaining voted for another party there is nothing amiss here.

Independence from what?

Certainly not from controlling elites, out to appropriate our money to further their own ends.

Just you watch as we are exploited and subjugated by the USA, China and India.

If you do want a celebration, why not hold a turnip festival?

Yes, we'll be able to put the Queen's head on sterling bank notes, hold our own elections and pass our own laws, drive on the left of the road, drink lager and eat curry or chinese, watch American cop shows on TV.............................................

So no change there.

Goldman Sachs will certainly be mourning the passing of the UK EU ruling class gravy train. Derailed by the working class and the poor.
