A French company moves between 60 - 70 jobs to France. Jobs that have only been in the UK for 6 years.

They are also moving 200 other jobs to Geneva. I'm guessing that both moves are important news for those losing their jobs.

At what level of job loss does it become newsworthy?

60-70 Total jobs going back to France will aid the workers paradise Eurozone, which needs all the help it can get. In August 2019 the unemployment rate in France was 8.6%.

 

The UK had an unemployment rate of 3.8 % in August 2019.

Spanish firm to create hundreds of jobs with new Tyneside trade park HQ

 

"A European utility contracting firm has chosen the final unit at a new Tyneside trade park as its new base of operations. Spanish-owned firm IQA Elecnor has signed a 10-year deal for premises at the £5m Infinity Park development in Monkton Business Park in Hebburn, which was completed just over a year ago.

 

The firm aims to develop the site into its regional headquarters, with plans to grow its headcount to a minimum of 300 over the next five years. "

Is this the start of the predicted 3 million jobs lost due to Brexit - as claimed by the Remainer hero Nick Clegg? 

 

If the UK loses 60-70 jobs per month due to Brexit, how many thousands of years will it take to get to 3 million?

Iwoca has announced it will become the first major European fintech firm to open an office in Leeds.

Bosses said they will establish a base in the city, which will serve as its first regional office, because it is a heartland for financial services."

So it's funded by a grant - ie the taxpayer is paying.

How many in the UK fishing industry do you think have lost their jobs since EU regulation?  How many whole towns have been decimated?

Common Fisheries Policy was introduced to stop overfishing no? To allow stocks to replenish. What's the major market for fish landed in the UK?

 

Either way, those jobs are gone and are not coming back, and the loss of that industry is a tragedy for those concerned.

 

How does that justify the disregard shown for further job losses in other industries?
