Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Whilst we wait for economic Armageddon, maybe you could have a peek at your post, to see whether it contains  a touch of hypocrisy.

I thought that according to Osborne the economic Armageddon should have already happened, now you see why forecasts can be wrong. And no, can't see any hypocrisy.... :)

The UK's austerity is down to the Tories, not the EU.

Who was the Greek austerity down to?

Why? Is that relevant, or just a bit of whataboutery?

If you aren't aware of why it's relevant you should do some research.

And our last austerity was down to Labour being profligate with the country's finances.

Greece agreed to theirs because it was forced on them by the EU.

It worked, just like our Conservative austerity worked for the UK.

It is becoming increasingly clear that austerity has not worked for our country.

We have a series of essential public services that are collapsing because of the drastic underfunding of the last ten years.

That’s the true cost of austerity

And your evidence for this is?

Let's have some facts and figures please, not just gutter press headlines.

Which facts and figures would you like?

The ones about the 8% cut in education spending?

Or the 20 000 missing coppers.

Or the 5% cut in spending on public health?

Those things are the reasons why we have so many social problems. They are the reasons why waiting times in hospital are up. They are the reason why A and E provision is pretty much broken,

But yeah, austerity works and anyone who says otherwise is just regurgitating gutter press headlines.

no it wasnt, our austerity was caused by the worldwide financial crash which was WORLDWIDE, more than us had austerity
