Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Thanks Brexit.

It's not like this wasn't so sadly predictable.

But, y'know, something about fish.

Or, y’know, something about second hand values of German luxury cars, as retep would apparently have it.

Luckily for me, I drive a British luxury car 😁

An irish friend i have on facebook, reckons Wetherspoons are opening around 30 pubs in Ireland in the coming year.....bit odd that since Tim wants us out of the EU, the conspiracy theorist side of me would start to think he wanted his foot in the EU?

https://www.joe.ie/life-style/wetherspoons-dublin-city-centre-686703

heres the story to the one that started the debate about it.

Timely thread bump: Elon Musk has decided to site his European factory in Germany due to the uncertainty caused by Brexit. He’s also dropped plans for a U.K. R&D center, which will now also be sited in Germany.

Yeah, not something about diesel but quite specifically brexit.

Blue passports though.....

Or subsidies,

"This all compares to Tesla reporting a $312 million profit for the third quarter. Subtract the $713 million in U.S. subsidies, and Tesla's results would be far weaker. Add in the international subsidies received from countries such as Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands and the U.K., and the situation would look even worse.

How much is this on a per-car basis? Divide $713 million by the 69,925 cars Tesla sold in the U.S. in the third quarter, and you get $10,197 per car. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Heartland America, you have just subsidized a bunch of millionaires living in California's most expensive coastal ZIP codes to the tune of $10,197 per car. I'm sure they are sending you a thank-you card."

Wonder how Germany are getting around the illegal subsidy bit,

How much subsidy did they need? £43 million given in the last couple of years.

Greybull's £20 million pa fees and interest charges (on a company they bought for £1) can't have helped.

Scunthorpe will not or cannot be saved. The Chinese deal is attempted to be blocked by Eurofer due to the breaching of state aid rules.

"One of my English friends is probably right when he says with melancholy that Brexit is the real end of the British Empire."

European Council President Donald Tusk, November 2019.

Brexit, according to the EU, means the real end of the British Empire.

LETS DO THIS.

Remainers clinging on to the false hope that being part of an EU British Empire gives us global influence and power are stuck in an imperialist colonial past.

END THE BRITISH EU EMPIRE.

LEAVE THE EU.

Really? Leavers are the most imperialist of a bygone age I know. They even display the racist and xenophobic tendencies that are associated with it. As it has been said before, 100% of racists and xenophobes voted Leave. None voted remain.
