Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

What is it that I'm supposed to 'have' ?

Dunno - the "have-nots" appear to include a large number of Old Etonians, hedge fund managers, currency speculators etc.

It could have been very different if the Remain campaign had been honest and open, then we would have known what to expect from the wealthy establishment when Leave won the decisive vote.

Back in 2016 the establishment elite could have informed us that if the referendum result was to Leave, then further referendums would be held until a Remain result was achieved. Then the referendums would cease.

The Government Referendum leaflet should have stated: 'The Government will implement what you decide - but only if you vote to Remain'.

You talking about Doris and Rees-Mogg again?

The sad truth is that because of the shenanigans that have happened far too many people will not bother to vote in any future elections.  It's too late to close the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Yep - the ERG's push for no-deal after Boris' campaign promised an easy and well thought through deal goes right to the top of the "shenanigans" list.

Our membership of the EU is tearing our society apart.

The 'haves' all wish to Remain.

The 'have-nots' wish to Leave.

Curse the EU for bringing chaos and division to our doorsteps!

Here on planet Earth (mk1), I make it 40 years of EU membership for the UK, and only lately 3 years of chaos and division in the UK?

54 per cent of the British public now wish to abide by the result of the referendum and Leave the EU, according to the biggest Poll on Brexit since June 2016.

https://www.comresglobal.com/polls/itn-brexit-referendum-poll-october-2019/

The EU - Love it or Leave it. (We definitely don't Love it).

I take it you have not read this bit in you're link Mr. Boot.

"But more people think a no deal is bad for the UK than good"

Is that not what parliament are arguing the toss about? not actually whether we leave are not?

The democratic people of the UK voted democratically in 2017 for the Torys to be the largest party, hence why the largest party had the right to form a government in whatever manner they wished.

You don't want to overturn this this democratic decision by any chance do you? I mean, wouldn't that be undemocratic to democracy?

Our EU membership has become a very destructive and divisive force for harm in our society. Our membership is quite literally tearing us apart. There is nothing positive about it - only negatives.

We must Leave to heal the deep divisions caused by our membership of this trading bloc. There is now no alternative.

Let's do this and heal.

Probably the same as Crispin Odey, Murdoch and the Barclay brothers?

But we are leaving, just not without a withdrawal agreement.

On 24th June 2016  when David Cameron resigned as Prime Minister it was made perfectly clear the advice to leave the EU which the democratic people gave was intended to be accepted.

He also said if we want out of the EU, he would bring us out, hows that working out for you?

The ERG supported the compromise deal that Boris negotiated with the EU.  It's the dishonest MPs who have no respect for democracy who seek to cheat 17.4 million people who are guilty of the shenanigans.

Poor old JRM, Ann Widdecombe, Boris Johnson, those Barclay Brothers and all their mates.

There was I thinking that they were some sort of privileged elite. It turns out that they don’t have two farthings to rub together. How easy it is to misjudge people.

Maybe we should start a crowdfunder to buy them some proper advice about their “ tax positions”
