Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Where's the deal in leave or remain?

The REMAINERS have been the fly in the ointment, not accepting they came second in a two horse race.

And the Brexiteers are too stupid to follow due process and legally enact the outcome they want. If the Leave MPs don’t know how to use Parliament then whose fault is that?

No use trying to pass the buck, the UK would have been out but for the REMAINERS  not accepting the result.

Not true.

The Conservatives had a majority in the house.  If they had all behaved properly, we’d be out. A significant number of bonkers Brexiters refused to back the May deal. So we are still in.

Blame Bill Cash.

No, Mays deal was not acceptable to the majority of the house, including brexiters and remainers.

Lockdoctor seems to forget that the EU did not vote for Brexit.

China didn't vote for Brexit. Neither did Pakistan.

Along with the EU (a trading bloc) those countries didn't get a vote.

Do you believe they should have?

I think there is much we disagree on.

But you are absolutely correct that the only reason we haven't left already is because Remain supporters in Westminster have used their power and privilege to deny the democratically expressed desire of 17.4 million voters.

Lol, can't believe you said that. Leaver thinking is the highest grade of flawed ever. It's based on lies, lies, lies and errrm mistruths

You are expressing incredibly flawed thinking.

The ERG and the DUP scuppered the deal.

Blame Peter Bone

I seem to remember that at the time, you and other right wing posters on here were calling May’s deal a ‘Surrender deal’, ‘Brexit in name only’ and ‘not really leaving’ and saying that MPs should have nothing to do with it.

Second vote: No = 391 Yes = 242

Of course there could be a managed exit.

At the moment the EU still think there is a chance the UK will stay in the EU and that is the only reason they are making things difficult.  Once the UK leave the EU then it will be in the EU's interest to  agree amicable arrangements with the UK regarding trade and other matters given the fact they currently have a big trade surplus with the UK.

(...)

At the moment, what the EU think is that there is still a chance of a withdrawal deal, not that the UK will stay in: the EU recognised and accepted the democratic choice of the UK right away, and ever since.

What the EU didn't accept, and won't ever, is your misguided sense of entitlement to unicorns.

Which is why your politicians can't ever agree on a form of Brexit, and which is why you still haven't signed up to the withdrawal agreement, notwithstanding that it is the best deal you're ever going to get (until and unless you pinkify your red lines).

No likey the deal, no likey no deal, means endless extensions.

No likey the deal, no extension (somehow), means you're out on your ass with your begging bowl out.

Feel free to deal with it sometime. Or to keep believing in unicorns like your 'managed exit': same difference here in the EU27.

Feel free to deal with it sometime. It's what you want, right? So about time you finally found your balls and measured up to your life choices. Your endless dithering, moaning and blame-throwing is getting rather old, rather fast now.

Love to hear French folk talking about British folks'lack of balls.Bloody hilarious. 😃
