Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

And anything else that they dream up in the future in their quest for a european empire.

When you say "they", who do you mean? All the other 27 EU members?

Which we can veto. I think your problems might lie with a series of inept UK government's, not the EU.

As can any of the other 27 members. I don't understand this leaver fixation with victimhood, as if the poor old UK is being ganged up against by all other 27 states, and instead of remaining and fighting our corner, leavers want to cut and run.

So, do you think that sort of thing does not happen now when there is also a non existent border or controls, or is there some sort of weird logic to it? It probable in fact that criminals, goods and drugs are smuggled more at the moment as its easy to do that when unchecked.

But we are under the same jurisdiction at the moment. if we leave without a deal that wont be the case. are you happy for foreign criminals to easily grace our shores? after all wasn't leaving the EU all about closing our borders? or is it only the law abiding ones who come here to work, fill skills gaps, enhance our economy, abide by laws, and give the UK  something to be proud of?

You know the biggest problem with leavers? you cherry pick the bits of leaving you like.

Forgot to mention, we will always be able to use the EU database to identify criminals and deport them, oh hang on you leavers will have baulked that too. Or do you like that bit? so we will keep that yes?

If we end up staying in the EU I don't want my two children ending up having to do "national" service for an EU army which apparently is being mooted.

Won't happen in a million years, if it became even a remote possibility, the UK, as a senior member would be able to opt out (Ever wondered why we never had schengen and the euro?) Your children would be more likely to be conscripted into a UK army first. Won't happen, if the UK brought back national service, would you be happy with that?

While you're charging at windmills, don't forget those millions of Turks poised to invade the UK when Turkey joins the EU tomorrow  ;)

I don't have a problem with Turkish people.  Many I have come to know are the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met.

Now, as for the EU army.  Why do you think that the day after the referendum, the EU announced their plans to roll out the European Army?  Because they had deliberately stalled this announcement, until we had voted.  Why?  Because they know we have had a professional army which is the envy of the world, and that there is no great desire in the UK to replace this, so they correctly assumed that this might sway voters to vote leave.

Then, when the EU felt that there was actually a chance that the result might not be respected, and that Remainers were calling for another go, the EU announce that they don't have plans for an EU army. Mmmmm 🙄

The union movement needed reigning back in the 80s. Thatcher could have picked any union to take head on to make an example of. The miners were by far the weakest and easiest to win against and the rest is history.

It's always been the old Tory philosophy, hasn't it; picking on the weakest.

Do you think the police should have worn their numbers at Orgreave?

The problem with that is that the the EU army fantasy was all over facebook before the referendum and the majority of Leave supporters were much more inclined to take notice of fake news on facebook than listen to official EU announcements.

In other news, the Lizard Council has announced that the New World Order Army will be launched in 2020.

Mr schoolboy socialist STILL doesnt seem to understand a tory brexit will lead to tories (yes they are still in charge) repealing whichever laws and rights they dont like.

Well please realise that the government of the day is fleeting!  But this opportunity to get out of the monster that the EU is becoming might never come around again for our daughters and grandsons.  Please don't be so short-sighted and think of being led by these Muppets for ever.

There's nothing Corbyn or any other real socialist, like Benn (I mean the real socialist, not his son) would like/have liked more than for us to be the creators of our own destiny.

Do you realise how crazy a statement like that makes you sound? 🤪

That's what the German chattering classes thought when they were told that Hitler had plans to build extermination camps.

I do not remember the EU announcing any plans to roll out a European Army.

Perhaps you can point me to a relevant EU communication?
