Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Wow, not all relatives support the same party shocker.

I think that she is doing a bit more than saying she doesn’t like Brexit or doesn’t support the Conservatives.

People, especially posh people, really hate airing family differences in public so if she is implying that her brother is under obligation to darker forces we should take her seriously.

After all, those architects of the Brexit Project who have invested millions in it weren’t doing it to make unemployed ex-miners in Barnsley and former dock workers from Hartlepool feel better about themselves.

They want a financial return on their investment.

An interesting piece from Cleverley on Newsnight last night about referredum promises and respecting the result:

You can respect a decision, but that doesn't mean you have to implement it.

There seems to be an error when I look at it. I've got cleverly talking out of his hat. He wants no deal. He at least voted for Mays deal but he seems to think that it's a simple thing, just like ticking a box. It isn't just because his party have come up with the worst worded referendum in the history of the world, doesn't mean we should all blindly follow. Don't want to revoke A50? Don't vote lib dems. Easy.

Or when.

At the time of the referendum, a number of eminent economists said that after so many decades as part of the EU it would take somewhere between 10 and 15 years to disengage completely without harming the UK economy.

The fact that Brexiteers are throwing their toys out of the pram after only three years is evidence if it were needed, that most Leave supporters had very little understanding of what they actually voted for.

Strange - Vote Leave campaign assured us that they would work diligently to get a deal.

"Finally, when you are talking to people - please reassure them that after we Vote Leave, there won't be a sudden change that disrupts the economy. The day after the referendum, nothing changes legally. We will talk to our friends in Europe and discuss the best way to agree a new UK-EU relationship. We won’t rush into it. When we do make changes we will make them carefully."

Dominic Cummings says he's enjoying the chaos that Brexit is causing, and tells MP who complains about death threats recieved "get Brexit done then":

What a contemptible, piece of **** he really is.

Indeed, if Brexiteers had delivered on any of the promises made during the campaign he "masterminded" then it would be.

Full access to the single market, all of the benefits with none of the responsibilities, all trade deals replaced on day one, unicorns, cake and sunny uplands...

Weird how he's not so keen to talk about those eh :?

The slowing economy and over spending by the government. The Tories are going to break their fiscal rule of crashing above 2% of borrowing to GDP. Austerity is coming back under a Tory government. Get ready.

Given that Cummings admitted having no idea who the MP was, by immediately saying ‘get Brexit done then’ he was admitting that death threats made against MPs were from Brexiteers to  Remainers.
