Consequences Of Brexit [Part 8] Read First Post Before Posting

Vaati

Mod Note: As we are getting rather tired of seeing reports about this. The use of the word Remoaners  is to cease. Either posts like adults, or don't post at all. The mod warnings have been clear.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

On Sunday, EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said that Brussels will insist on border checks in Ireland if there is a no-deal Brexit - purely to protect the interests (private profits) of capitalists in the European Union.

Brussels EU border in Ireland will bring back the Long War just so that already very rich men can get even richer.

The EU has spoken out against Donald Trump building a wall on the Mexican border, but it has no qualms about building a border in Ireland to protect the profits of the single market.

NO to an EU border in Ireland. NO to an EU army to enforce it. People BEFORE EU protectionism.

Jeremy Corbyn has defeated the Blairites in their push to make Labour a party of Remain.

Much standing and cheering "Oh Jeremy Corbyn!"

The Labour Leader is standing by his working class Leave voters, against the affluent middle class Blairite Remainers.

Dont worry Cardoor ive made the interesting bit BOLD

and a bit more

You seem very militantly socialist (on a schoolboy level) but seem to be happy to be on the same side as these billionaires donating millions of cash to the tories.....hmmmmm

I am not on the same side as £billionaire Tories, or £billionaires of any description.

These creatures only have such obscene wealth because they have stolen it from the working class. EVERY £billionaire should have their wealth confiscated by the state and they should be imprisoned for their crimes against society.

but they are pumping it into your precious leave campaign and the likes of Rees Mogg and Johnson to get your precious brexit passed so it does seem that you bat for their team, despite your protestations and trying to pump out propaganda that wealth is a remain thing

Fat lot of good that will do him at the ballot box come the next GE

Under your Dear Leader, Labour's outrageously Stalinist handling of the composite 13 vote, and their de facto request for an electoral blank cheque about Brexit, just precipitated hundreds of thousands of centrist Labour voters into the arms of the LibDems outright today alone, killing Labour's electoral chances deader than dead. Expect many more Lab MPs fleeing to Jo 'marmite' Swinson before then.

As of tonight, your only hope lies with those evil Tories, their evil billionaire backers and those evil affluent middle class Tory voters indeed. The irony is positively delectable

So you don't have a problem with open borders after all then?

Seems somewhat hypocritical given you are leaving the UK.

Not particularly. I find it good I get to escape when needed

So Clive Betts is putting the interests of his constituents first. What is wrong with that?

But he's he's totally ignoring the fact that his constituency voted, as a majority of those who bothered to vote in the referendum, voted to leave, just as the majority of Sheffielders, who could be bothered to vote, voted to leave, just as 64% of Labour constituencies  voted to leave.

How difficult is it to understand?

Need a definition of a democratic vote?

He’s free to vote as he chooses.

Just as his constituents were free to vote for whoever they chose to at the GE.

How difficult is that to understand?

Just because some shout loudest, doesn’t make them right.

Oh you poor thing.  Prepared to blindly follow Clive without any questioning.  Just the type of voter your average politician loves.

Of course those who shout loudest doesn't make it right.  Didn't realise it was possible to shout in a written medium?  Of course I could say that you're trying to deflect from the facts by making such a trite comment & like Clive ignoring the simple fact that his constituents voted to leave but I'm bigger than that.

Also like the fact that you & some others ignore the fact that 64% of Labour constituencies voted to leave.

64%?  Now that's what I call a majority.
