Do they still have the grey ones in Hull, and do they still have their own phone service there, these days.?

And internet!

They are called Kingston Communications (KCOM) and Hull City play at the KC stadium.

There is one at the bottom end of Skew Hill, near Grenoside.   I use to drive past it regularly and always admired it when I lived in the area.

That one went a few years ago.

There's one at the bottom of Church Street in Oughtibridge but there's no door on it.

There's one in the village of Abney near Hathersage.

I've a memory there is also one in Litton near Tideswell? I've also noticed several in Derbyshire villages, but can't remember which ones. Somebody has already mentioned the one at Millthorpe near the Royal Oak, which is now the village book exchange. Is there also one in Barlow near the church?

I've seen a few recently painted green to house a community defibrillator - mainly in very rural areas.

What a wonderful use for them.
