I can highly recommend the customer service at EE. I have found their CS to be 2nd to none over many years. Both their mobile side and BB.

Thank you. When I switch ISP's (as its looking like at the moment anyway) Ill make EE my first port of call.

We're clearly glossing over the fact that @Waj "thinks" it is the router at fault.  This could be an issue with the Openreach network.

I dont "think" its the router but thanks for your "contribution". 🙂

Anyone in the S60 area having problems with slow BB on Sky?

Currently im getting 1mbit DL speed (Yeah, ONE!!  😂  )

Sky reckon I should be getting around 40.

Are you still getting 1mbps?
how many devices are connected?
are you using WiFi? (if so 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?) and how far away are you?
Is there any noise on your phone line?
how many devices are on your phoneline?
is your router into the main socket, or on the end of an extension?

Following on from @Ghozer's question, the standard next question is - can you post your router statistics here? It is amazing what those details can reveal with regards to your performance problems.

Thank you to everyone for your posts

I m happy (or should that be relieved?) to say its finally fixed. In the end a tech guy walked me through switching wifi channels and this seems to have fixed the issues I was having.

I have to say im not impressed with the way Sky dealt with the whole thing but the main thing for me is that its finally working as it should

Thank you again for your input everyone

Waj 🙂

that pings high

For a mobile phone on a mobile network. It seems fine with me. Yes, my fixed fiber line of 350mbit and a ping of 9ms is better, but my point being a mobile internet connection is decent for most applications except maybe for gaming which 5G will undoubtedly resolve.

It's not too bad, anything below 100 is fine for gaming generally any way :)

Though I just did a Speedtest on my 4G and got 24ms ping :)
