Technically in this debate, it's about animals being killed for meat.

dairy etc is a whole other kettle of fish

Not really. Chez raised a fair point.

The dairy industry involves the slaughter of thousands of calves, so it is fair to say that milk is murder. (And butter, and cheese).

but halal threads (despite halal also covering all foods) always revolves around the murder of animals for meat (stunning / versus not stunning etc) which is separate to killing calves due to milk. which is why vegetarianism  was brought up.

As per the topic, should all meats and all meat products containing Halal and Shechita slaughtered meats be labelled to allow people like myself who disagree with these methods, to be able to avoid their purchase.

I have indeed written to the Government on several occasions over the acts, but knitting fog would give better results.

Your history of sticking up for animal rights are a bit selective.

Nice one.

One wonders if it only bothers them when it  comes to religions or a specific (cough/ Islam) religion.
