Hello, just wondering if anyone can give an idea of how much it would cost to trim a door (bottom) as I have currently fitted a new carpet but now I cant close the door!! Am thinking to ask the carpet shop for referral but would like to get some ideas first.

Also is it expensive to put a sliding door in for my lounge. Thanks

We have just had Stuart round at our house to repair a couple of leaks in the house under the sink and on a radiator. He was very quick to call round and sort out all the problems in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend him.

Just a short note to confirm that Stuart Swan is indeed still out there and working, and to thank him for ringing me back promptly regarding a small job that I needed doing. I actually had the work done by another tradesman that I would heartily recommend (Alan Sampson 07860 807948) who happens to be based very close to me in S8 and managed to fit me in between other jobs.

Outstanding, great guy, very, very good at his trade, very tidy and prompt, very easy to talk to and discuss requirements, even suggesting better ways for maximum shelf space.

Replaced a stair Balustrade and built from scratch all internal shelving to a pantry cupboard. All to a very high standard.

So good we have asked for a quote on another future project, Cheers.

I would love to hear from small builders or someone with good experience to carry out a little job please.

I require timber flooring and floor joists to be removed from a conservatory in Handsworth. And replace with concrete floor. Some surface preparation required but not much. Floor area about 20 sq metres
