I just thought it was the neighbours getting their black bins down to the street.

Snowflakes will complain about anything and everything nowadays.

Doubt there’s any snowflakes in this weather.

I've heard fireworks going off on a Sunday afternoon around that time quite a few times before, always assumed it was something to do with the dog track. Not heard them as loud as yesterday before though, and it happened twice, some time apart.

Never seen the point of setting off fireworks in daylight!

With the amount of complaining you do I doubt you see the point in anything much.

When these went off on Sunday I was in an allotment just up the valley, and although I lived very close to Owlerton for nearly 30 years, the ones for this weekend's stock car racing were particularly loud,  it's a strange time to have fireworks, in bright sunshine on a Sunday lunchtime, like the loud engines just aren't enough of an intrusion.

I'm not scared of loud bangs..i love that kind of thing..!

I understand it's scary for kids / animals/ elderly though.!

What surprised me was the roar of Engines afterwards...They weren't your average stock cars...They sounded like V8's to me.!
