silly.questions   0 #1 Posted July 18, 2019 Thank you again for your lovely replies in relation to my noise to colour background.  I want to take this one step further. I have a photo as a background to a div.  #div-info{ background-image: url(/img/photo.jpg); } I want to add this 'noise' on that photo. I want to add a colour overlay (I think overlay is the right word for this?) above that.  Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance for your help. Cyclone   10 #2 Posted July 18, 2019 Have a read here  https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7289887/how-can-i-overlay-images-png-within-a-website  And check out stackoverflow generally for answers to questions like this.  You can use the z index to stack images on top of each other and pngs can allow transparency.
