He doesnt approach employed managers or hasnt done to date, hes still fresh faced as an owner, but being thai its also an honour thing......seeing as hes been stitched up with Bruce, youd think hed learn by now its very cut throat in football. I quite liked the idea of the cowley kids comming in,success rate is VERY high, fresh new ideas, but was always a risk, the football world is full of failed Cowleys, the guy that manages Newport looks to have done an incredible job on a shoestring, but would you give the bloke a championship job........ Monk it is,likes front foot football,so that should be fun, likes to attack which will make a nice change too many of the failed P/O final squad are fixtures,we need more switched on forewad players, lets see, weve too many indeciscive players, happy to pick up a decent wedge for doing too little to influence a game week in week out Edited September 10, 2019 by staninoodle
 Share this content via...

Paul Hirst did well at Shrewsbury but it didn't work at Ipswich. Nathan Jones is struggling at Stoke after doing a good job at Luton.  ......but then you get Chris Wilder.
 Share this content via...
redbig   10 #351 Posted September 11, 2019 Cowley's might have come in and done well, Monk might come in and we plummet, nobody knows  One things for sure.... If Cowley beats us on Sunday there'll be folk saying we made the wrong choice after 1 game !
 Share this content via...

Using the old George Burley system that was a success at Ipswich has served him well
 Share this content via...

The team are very well drilled and each player knows their own individual tasks. The use of attacking central defenders is like nothing we have seen before, but they do it so very well. You have to take your hat off to Chris WIlder and it would be stupid not to rate them as a serious threat in the premier league"   He's done very well, no doubt about it, and the budget he's done it on makes it even better  But revolutionised British football ?
