Clock In Orchard Square

Recommended Posts

Someone asked me if the charictors In  clock in orchard square  still perform.

They used to all come out at a quarter past the hour.

I stood there at 215pm yesterday and nothing happened

Was it just a blip or do they still perform ?

Did"nt and were"nt?

Is this something new that I've missed? A new fad? Perhaps a mobile phone shortcut?

It doesn't look right....

Wasn't being flippant, by the way!

Even my mother-in-law has started dropping punctuation in her texts and whatnot, because "everybody does these days", and she drops bloody symbols in everywhere as well!

I wondered if it was me being "behind the times" yet again!

It's just that it makes everything so bloody hard to read... in fact, depending on the error involved, it can change the meaning of a statement completely.

Actually, the spelling, punctuation and grammar that runs throughout this forum is generally appalling.

Education or laziness, I wonder?

On topic.... the clock hasn't chimed and the people haven't appeared for a few years now. It takes whoever lookscafter the clock about two weeks to realise the clocks have gone back/forward.

I remember when Orchard Square was new and this was a big draw of crowds to see them!
