Farage in Bother with the EU (again!)

Recommended Posts

It looks like Farage is going to be reported to the National Crime Agency and the European Anti-Fraud Office for investigation over his undeclared half a million quid backing from Aron Banks, including use of a £4.4 million house in London, private jet travel, a chauffeured car and multiple free flight to meet right and far right political figures in the US.

Drain the swamp!

I've been watching Channel 4's investigations of Farage. He comes across as chippy, entitled and hypocritical. I look forward to the investigation being an irritant to him.

The reason he refused to talk to Channel Four News during the €uro elections was because they have been digging into his and Banks’ murky financial details for months.

(although I suspect the real reason was that he didn’t fancy being interviewed by John Snow, Cathy Newman, Matt Frei or Krishnan Guru-Murthy who unlike most of their colleagues don’t treat him like some big celebrity.

He has the barefaced cheek to criticise the " Elite" when he is an expensively educated Public Schoolboy and Stock'Broker.

Has Farage been found guilty yet?

That's a bit like asking if grass has been found to be green yet, while sitting on your lawn looking at it.

The EU parliament’s disciplinary body has recommended that Nigel Farage faces the “highest penalty” for a “serious breach” of its code of conduct, a leaked letter suggests. "

Well that's a complete surprise then, the EU Parliament trying to do Nigel damage, who would have thunked it. The bloke who almost singlehandedly has ended their gravy train of plenty, and plenty more.

Nothing to see here, just a corrupt institution in the throes of death trying to do down their executioner.

It's good to see the NCA involved because the EU's in house disciplinary system is woefully inadequate to deal with this kinda stuff.

Well, that and that there's a wealth of evidence showing Farage has a case to answer :?

You want a liar not to answer for their actions, sounds very leavery.. who'd have thunk it! :hihi:

He has already admitted it and claims that as he was planning to leave politics and move to america he didn’t need to declare it (which he did)

Have you not been keeping up with recent events?

The EU is stronger than ever and even Farage’s crackpot far-right populist friends in France, Italy,  Austria and Hungary don’t want to leave.

Britain is the only EU country which is in serious trouble!

Bubble buster?,

"Mr Farage has hit back at the committee, and accused its MEPs of also breaking Parliament rules after the letter was leaked to the media.

A spokesman for the Brexit Party leader also suggested their boss was being targeted for political reasons.

The spokesman said: “It is our view that if you make mention of this you will be in contempt of the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament which confirm that the proceedings of the Advisory Committee are confidential.

“We find it amazing that you should be in possession of this letter before Mr Farage’s office in Brussels has received any such information. This demonstrates that Channel 4 are co-operating with an individual who clearly dislikes Nigel Farage but nevertheless sits on a Committee which purports to make judgements about him and who by leaking this letter seeks to bounce the President into making a decision before he has seen any evidence. “This is unacceptable and a breach of protocols surrounding the operation of this Committee.”
