I lived in High green..Quite high up.. during a storm... if you looked in the right direction (across towards Ecclesfield)..you could see some fantastic Lightning in the sky and hear massive thunderclaps that followed.  My mum told me that if it Thunders and Lightens... It means that 'Iv'e done something naughty'...!  Yeah me and me palls just scromped half a dozen Apples and a few pears from the local farm..  Hardly worthy of being struck down by Lightning, I think..!  Good proper storms though..Not like the whimpy little effots we see today.!       Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
