Reason for Rehome:

 

I have bought this male, blue Veiltail Betta fish from a reputable supplier (Trop Co. in Kent, transport to Sheffield directly within 4 hours) on 25/05/19.  24 hours later (26/05/2019), it has attacked my other juvenile tetras and small shrimps, and sadly it has to go.  It is an absolutely healthy and lively fish that deserves a great owner who is experienced in keeping a Siamese Fighting Fish.  I want this fish to have great owner who truly enjoys keeping one.

 

Time Scale: Only when a good new home is found.

Sale Amount: Free, but please describe how you are going to properly care for it.

Location: Sheffield, S10, off Fulwood Road.

Approximate size now and full grown size: 5-6 cm from mouth to tail.

Minimum fish tank size needed: 10 gallon tank (37 litres) for more.

Any Current health problems: Healthy, young, with no sign of fin rot or health condition.

Compatibility with other fish: Can live in a large tank with hiding places with other big fish or larger.

Beginners, moderate or experienced levels of fishkeeping required: Moderate, or experience keeper.  Must have kept a Betta before.

Easy to feed: Yes, a mix of live feeds and normal fish food.  Omnivore/carnivore. 

Destructive Behaviour: No.  Will not disturbed plants.  But please choose tank mate carefully.  Will manage well living on its own in a decent-size aquarium.

Temperature range: Water temperature between 23 and 28 degree C.

Tropical: Tropical water.
