It shows Tory party members happy to trash the economy, and break up the union. Selfish sods. Little wonder they're happy to see Boris Johnson as Prime Minister.

But they wouldn't be happy to see Jeremy Corbyn as PM.:hihi:

That's stiffened my resolve to vote Labour at the next election. And I hope Jeremy Corbyn sends round Momentum activists to trample on their flower beds

Another poster who isn't a Tory member stated they were asked to take part in the poll which just devalues the poll even further.  They would have got the same result if the hypothetical scenario had been World War 3.   The poll indicates what we all know is that Tory members don't want Corbyn to be our Prime Minister and that hypothetical scenario is more worrying to the Tory members and others who took part in that poll than anything else.   When Boris is crowned the new Tory leader the threat of Corbyn becoming Prime Minister will be lessened.

But they'd be prepared to risk the union, and trash the economy just to get their precious Brexit. That says everything about them

But as we know, most Tory members and Brexiteers are pensioners, so I'm alright Jack. Never mind if people lose their jobs and become impoverished. Just as long as everyone else is suffering under Johnson the clown, they can have a laugh. Selfish gits.

Well, it means that when push comes to shove, they're not actually conservatives (at least, not anymore).

In an objective world, it should take a bit more than one poster's unverified and anecdotal assertion, to counter a (well known) polling organisation's own assertion that Conservative Party members were polled, particularly once the margin of error inherent to all polls is taken into account.

But well. This is a Brexit/political discussion, so objectivity is waiting outside, innit?

The Brexit-Corbyn conditional question is basically asking Tory members whether, if Brexit was going to cause Corbyn to get into no.10, they'd still want it.

They wouldn't, unlike any other one of the other outcomes (Scotland out, NI out, UK economy down the flush, Tory party destroyed).

Can you guess why that is?

Just like the other outcomes, it's got everything to do with personal wealth: the increase thereof, out of disaster capitalism practices for outcomes 1-3, and the preservation thereof, out of fear of confiscative taxes being brought in by Corbyn.

Now who did Tory rags call 'enemies of the people', again?

If Boris should reach the Conservatives leadership and no.10, the threat of Corbyn becoming Prime Minister would increase ten-fold.

He's more divisive a figure amongst Tory MPs, than Corbyn manages to be amongst Labour MPs and, for all the fence-sitting Labour has been engaging in over the past 3 years, they're hardly outdoing the Conservatives in terms of self-damaging material to be used in a GE campaign.

Your spinning is comedic.  I believe  the poster when he stated he was asked to take part in the poll and isn't a Tory member because that poster is a fair poster.

These YouGov polls are becoming more comical which is demonstrated  by a  YouGov poll which found Rory Stewart came out best in the BBC debate with 35% of the vote.  Boris Johnson 21%, Jeremy Hunt 14%, Michael Gove 9%, Sajid Javid 5%

That will be the same Corbyn who was only nominated by Labour MPs to get on the ballot paper to make the Labour leader contest interesting and the same Boris who got over one third of votes from Tory MPs in the first ballot in a contest where there were 10 participants.  Carry on spinning.

I know, fancy a reputable polling organisation coming up with the idea that Tory members would say they would be prepared to sacrifice the union of the United Kingdom and see the economy trashed just to get Brexit.

You Gov is obviously run by left wingers determined to portray Tory brexiteers as selfish, prejudiced and narrow minded. The idea!

As labour have never elected either a woman or BAME as leader and have in charge a middle aged white man in charge I’d advise her to keep quiet.

Remember the Jasper Carrott (?) joke about Sun readers? How they didn't care who ran the country, just as long as they had big breasts?

Well, we've made it....

Two of the biggest **** going.

it was sarcasm following this comment by her in the houses of parliament on Monday

Abbott says Trump attacked Khan because he is Muslim

I would have loved if someone had shouted "is it bo***ks" after she said it

Why bring Diane Abbott into the discussion about the Tory leadership? Is all this 'blue on blue' action making you tribal?
