Who next for Tory Leader/PM?

Like Karen Bradley who was not only selected as a Tory candidate but was appointed Minister of State for Northern Ireland. The only problem was that when she asked to meet the local Conservative Association she was told ā€œWe donā€™t have Conservatives and Labour here, we have the DUP and Sinn FĆØinā€.

Ā

Even Trump would struggle to make such a dumb appointment. šŸ˜µšŸ™„šŸ˜ŸšŸ˜³

The very same Karen Bradley who didn't understand that Nationalists don't vote for Unionists and vice versa.

Ā

Honourable mention to Dom Raab and his lack of understanding of the strategic importance of Dover.

Ā

Or, Chris Grayling.....

Ā

Shall I go on?

We've got a Tory governmentĀ full of people who have already failed the test of high public office.Ā

The other problem they have, is that weā€™ve had three years of moaning about Theresa May being a closet remainer.Ā

Ā

Now that we have a cabinet full of bonkers Brexiteers, when we are still in the EU on 1 November 2019 they will have no one left to blame! šŸ˜‚

It's turning into some mad Tory cult.

To be fair, I agree with William Rees-Mogg Esqā€™s campaign for the correct use of English.

Ā

However the enforced use of Imperial measurement is very dangerous and a health and safety nightmare.

I remember fondly,Ā how the Daily Telegraph would insistĀ Ā on referring to Red Ken Livingstone as Mr Kenneth Livingstone.

Iā€™m not sure that will wash this time round.

Ā

The EU has been absolutely unflinching in itā€™s position on the withdrawal agreement and they have stated that the negotiations areĀ finished before, during and after the Tory leadership election.

Ā

Even the stupidest of Brexit supporters will see that Johnson promising something that he canā€™t deliver is his fault, not the fault of those who havenā€™t done anything other than stick to their guns for three years.

I wouldn't bet on it.

Ā

Blaming "Johnny Foreigner" (aka Frogs, Krauts not to mention Muslamics etc) is Brexit 101 to many.

Important to not back down on this. Iā€™ve already seen the argument from people who have been quite steadfast until now Ā that we should accept something not quite hard Brexit just to appease these headcases.Ā

Ā

Im not backing down. Itā€™s no Brexit, or my max compromise is Brexit on EEA terms. Nothing less.

Heā€™s set up to fail on purpose. Then they will gun for the EU and try and win an election off the back off that. And when they win that election the new enemies are going to be anybody who doesnā€™t agree with them, and any democratic institution that tries to hold them back.

Ā

Stand firm. They donā€™t have any realistic endgame.Ā
