Cyclone   10 #25 Posted May 25, 2019 Depends on the day, on a weekend, just the one set of clothes all day, unless I'm going out in the evening. Weekday, I change from my "work" jeans (which means that they're narrow legged for cycling actually) into a nicer pair for the evening, and now it's warm, a clean t-shirt at that point as well.  You excluded "sports" clothes though, which could be another 2 to 3 changes in a day, depending. Climbing, Jiu Jitsu, running, gym, they each have different clothing requirements and I often do at least 2 of these activities in a day. What's the difference between the clothes you wear to walk the dog and the clothes for lounging?  I very often wear the same clothes all day. If I'm going out in an evening maybe one of my better shirts, but that's about it. I was wondering the same thing about walking and lounging. I think some people have a distinct different opinion of walking the dog than i do. Farmers fields, county park, off road trails - why would you walk in jeans and potentially get soaked and then sit around the house in jeans that take days to dry out. That's the type of walk my dogs get twice a day.  Any good boy scout(hiker/walker) know that jeans and jogging bottoms are not the material for hiking or walking in. There's no way you could go for a walk in those sussies and killer heels 😯🤨 Edited May 30, 2019 by Voice of reason
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #33 Posted May 30, 2019 I wonder if the OP is also the kind of person who washes their clothes after wearing them once?
 Share this content via...

That's a big leap, from the comments the op made! Similar to the excessive consumerism one I suppose. What's an acceptable number of available outfits in your opinion? What's an acceptable number of available outfits in your opinion? It's a pondering, a question, a flight of enquiry. Chill your beans. In response to your question, each to their own, but I find people who change to an excessive degree as faintly ridiculous. My own preference is to minimalism. I have some nice shirts and I recently spent more than 50 quid on a pair of shoes for the first time in my life, but essentially I have a very limited wardrobe. My favourite T shirt is over 10 years old. Edited May 30, 2019 by Halibut
 Share this content via...
