Baron99   794 #4 Posted May 16, 2019 A couple of good Meadows' films are:  Room for Romeo Brass  Dead Man's Shoe's. The ending wasn't what I thought it would be. Also got ex-boxer Gary Stretch in it.
 Share this content via...

iamwoody   19 #6 Posted May 16, 2019 bottom of london road / club garden road Oh and the pub was hen and chickens !
 Share this content via...

boldforester   10 #8 Posted May 16, 2019 Started off assuming it would be in Liverpool, but as soon as he came outside I shouted out "That looks like the Lansdowne!" Then the tram stop was a dead giveaway. I wouldn't have guessed the pub, though it was clearly not a Spoons - his bar bill would have been much higher.
 Share this content via...
abbeyedges   83 #9 Posted May 16, 2019 Shane Meadow's film company 'Warp Films' are located in the Work station so it figures he'll use Sheffield as a location  Prisoners Wives (couple of years ago) used the same flats.
 Share this content via...
Edward Vimto   10 #10 Posted May 18, 2019 Its 100% percent Hen and Chickens. I think the Tram Stop is Granville Road.   He goes in a 2nd pub. Could be The Museum?
 Share this content via...

iamwoody   19 #12 Posted May 21, 2019 apparently all the " actors" in the pub scene were regulars at the hen and chickens so all this helps with the " amateur / realistic feel " to it .
 Share this content via...
