Heartshome   20 #63 Posted June 21, 2020 Ah! such good times! Indoors :- Darts=( Cottage wall suffered a bit ) Dominos, Draughts, Hang Man, Lotto=( New name Bingo ) Ludo, Snap, Snakes & Ladders. Outside :- Blind Man's Buff, Dens=( Sheets & wood clothes dryer ) French Skipping, Hide & Seek, Hopscotch, Show Jumping=( We were the horses jumping over boxes, buckets and brooms )  Pond Stone Skimming, Who Could Pull Most Fresh Water Mussels out of the Dam=( Laid on tummy, head over dam edge, flat ended twig, push in what you thought was Mussel mouth till it grabbed, and pull ) Then we put them back for next time. It used to fascinate people walking by.  Our village gang of 4 boys & 4 girls, we had such a wonderful care free childhood.
