It's a wonder we are still here. Start at the top of Crowder hill, and off we went, all the way to the park at the bottom. We were fine! we had that high spec wooden hand brake on one of the wheels!!! In the Summers it would be Longley Baths. The year round games were tennis and golf (again, in Longley Park) The street games were hide and seek, football, cricket etc. With the odd scrap with lads from other streets thrown in. We'd play it in the gym with a medicine ball in the middle, half the class on each side of the gym and go for it. The object of the game was to get the ball to the other side...no rules as such!
