We are getting married on a very tight budget and wondered if anyone knows of any white taxis or just generally nice cars that could be booked just for travelling from ceremony to evening venue? Alternatives welcome but when I say budget I mean VERY cheap which is why we aren’t looking at proper wedding cars. appreciate any help! Chez2 10 #2 Posted May 13, 2019 When my sister in law got married we used our own car and put ribbons on it. Many years ago only the main car used to be anything special, the back up car was quite ordinary. Do you really need a fancy car? As long as its not a rusty old banger just dress it with ribbons. Get a reel of florist ribbon off ebay thats what we have done for two relatives. As long as you are not charging it comes under social, domestic and pleasure on the insurance.
