How do you work that out? Leeds will have 3 goals taken off their goals for and one off against, Utd will have 5 taken off their goals for.

Utd now is         74 F 39 A would become 69F  39A

Leeds now is     70F 46 A would become  67F  45A

Although it won't make any difference if the games are scratched, too many goals in Utds favour.

I think you are almost certainly right. There is still the possibility, no matter how remote.

If it does come to pass, the repercussions will be huge. For that reason alone, the EFL must make Bolton complete the season. They also need a review of their rules to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.

The match  with Brentford was rescheduled for next Tuesday but has now been cancelled.

The EFL have confirmed the encounter will now not be played - with the Bees awarded a 1-0 victory - because safety could not be guaranteed. Whose safety could not be guaranteed though, the players?
