Me and the missus are wanting to go out for a curry Saturday tea time with our 2 year old daughter. TIA Not been for a while but I seem to remember that Akbars in West One have some high chairs. They're open early doors from 5pm too.

Signage and fixtures/fittings all ripped out already, it all seems very quick. To be fair, I never got around to trying it - and it was largely empty every time I went past. bungleboy69
I didn't get to try it either... turned up once at 9.30 on a Saturday night and the kitchen was closed....gutted as the chefs allegedly used to work at The Mangla which I miss so much...
Stannington Lad
It's hard to say really, I've had good and bad food at the same restaurant when it's been the same dish as previously. For me it all depends on the chef, if you know they're working and what their specialty is. The mood of the chef, the quality of the ingredients and time at the burner matter too. I've been enjoying food and said to friends, try a bit of this and they didn't like it . Other factors include the actual restaurant decor and whether customers feel pressured to leave, especially if the restaurant is busy. Longcol
Back in Sheffield for a quick visit last weekend. Went to Rajputs on Commonside on Sunday - 5 of us - cost £100 for a starter and main each plus pickles, nan bread etc. Still the best onion bhajis ever. trin
Has Kashmiri Aroma in Woodseats closed? Shame if it has, as was one of the best in Sheffield. Edited August 20 by trin

I've had a couple of good curries there. Don't think it's closed down.

I have tried ringing a few times and the number is now not recognised and there are some comments on FB about it being a shame it is going.
