PeteM01
Chaman food was better in my honest opinion, so that's maybe why they have lost some of their old customers but picked up a few new ones. Yeah they could do I suppose - try out Mirpuri dhera (which has food influenced more from the Kashmir region). At £10 a head, its very good value for money considering the variety they have. One thing however I didn't like was that they charge for water!! :s I really miss the simple chicken and mushroom curry from Chaman. An innocent name but it was usually very, very spicy! And the naan breads...
Ousetunes
Loved Cafe Guru. A shame it closed. I like Ambar on Ecclesall Road, near Endcliffe Park and Ranmoor Tandoori. Oh, and Kashmiri Aroma. Superb curry fish.

willman
I've just been to a nearly Sheffield curry house - Apna's @ Rotherham. Fantastic for £11 a head, never seen so much meat in a curry.

PeteM01
I went to Khushi last night, on Abbeydale Road. The buffet was good, especially for £7.95. They were very friendly and welcoming, despite having a very large party due in. The number of dishes on offer was quite small and they put only small amounts out, with more being added when needed. Meat was mainly on-the-bone but there was plenty of it, and very nicely spiced. Seviyan was available at the end for a bit of sweet relief! Not a deluxe dining experience, but the food is good and the buffet is great value.
holmehouse92
Kashmiri Aroma is the best in my humble opinion. Great service (manager is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet!) Food good value, big portions and free poppadoms and pickles is a winner in my book!
