Just watched it online, crying shame, I just hate old buildings and/or artefacts like this getting destroyed.

Its very sad to see this happening, and restoring it will be abn awfully long job and will take many years.  Just a small part of York Minister took four years to restore - this will be a far bigger job and might take until the 2040s.

There's going to be an awful lot more restoration work after this. It seems according to some reports that the restoration work might be responsible for this.
