I can't say I've come across any Yarpies in my time here.  Last night i was sitting and chatting with an Iranian, two yemenese, a kurd, one syrian, a belgian and an American.

 

I love the diversity of this city.

Do they object to being called ‘Yarpies’ or ‘Jaapies’ ? .....and does the term apply only to white former South Effricans ?
