Mister M   1,575 #116 Posted April 15, 2019 (edited) Different but similar to the theme I opened the thread with, is that Israel Folau has had his contract with Australian Rugby cancelled due to his comments that "hell awaits gay people". Quite right he was sacked. I did note that another high profile British rugby player Billy Vunipola lent his support to Israel's comments, he said that "man was made for woman to procreate". Perhaps he thinks that the RFU are a pushover, and like him thinks that gay rugby players, or rugby fans who pay his wages are second class citizens.  Time will tell. El Cid   194 #117 Posted April 15, 2019 Should rugby players lose their jobs, for not saying the right thing?  "It was made clear to him that any social media posts or commentary that is in any way disrespectful to people because of their sexuality will result in disciplinary action."  The committed Christian last week posted a banner on his Instagram account that read: "Drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolators - Hell awaits you."  Hell is a fictitious place !!!  https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47932231
 Share this content via...

If he thinks crud like that is what it's all about, he's really failed to grasp Christ's most important teaching.
 Share this content via...
