Fairholmes - bike racks

Does anyone know if there’s anywhere at Fairholmes to securely lock up a bike?

 

Thinking of cycling out, and then doing some  running/walking from Fairholmes for a few hours.

There's a bike hire place there so there must be somewhere to lock your bike to.

 

When I've cycled there I usually just chain my bike to the wooden fence around the picnic benche area.

 

(I take it you are talking about the visitor centre at Derwent Reservoir)

Yes that’s it, the place with the car park near the dam. Think I’ll chain it to the fence.

Even at this time of the year there are always lots of people up there and your bike should be safe.
