SCC Sort Code Change

I've just received a bill from Sheffield City Council and noticed that they were asking for payment to be made to a different sort code to last year's payment. This is due to Barclays issuing new sort codes as part of the creation of the "ringfenced" Barclays Bank in the UK in early 2018. 

 

Barclays will route payments correctly for three years (so until around Jan 2021) if you use the old sort code, but it would be as well for anyone making payments to SCC using stored details to update these when making their next payment.  Payment instructions will be on the back of the Invoice.
