Awarefest 0 #1 Posted March 20, 2019 **Calling all South Yorkshire based musicians...** On Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th Rotherham will be hosting its first ever Mental Health awareness festival – Awarefest. The purpose of the festival is to raise awareness around mental health whilst breaking down any stigma’s that are attached to it. The event will be an indoor event hosted across two venues in Rotherham town centre. Over the course of the 2 days there will be live musicians, poets, well known key speakers, mental health workshops and activities and there will be counsellors on hand to speak to those would like to speak to them. We are looking for singers, bands and musicians who would like to be involved. We have half 15 mins and half an hour slots available across both days.
