DO WE BLADES NOW CHEER THE OWLS ?

Recommended Posts

What ever the outcome it should not have any consequence on any other club imo whether it be promotion or relegation. One for the barristers on here.

Hope this helps..

From 2007–08, any club entering administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have their 10-point deduction suspended until the following season. If the club is relegated the points will be deducted from their tally at the start of next season. If the club stays up the 10 points will be taken off their final total.

Thanks for clarifying Alan.

What could be worse than a club having a very successful season only for their just desserts to be potentially snatched away by something totally out of their control.

You are right it is not fair but the  article in the Yorkshire Post spells it out what happens when a club goes out of business (not administration)and it clearly says that all the matches that have taken place in the season in which the club as been involved in are scrubbed so that it is only fair to other clubs who have not yet played them.So some clubs could have 6 points taken off their tally plus their goal difference would be adjusted accordingly .There is a big difference in a club going into Administration and a club getting wound up and should not be seen as the same animal.Being in admin lets the club continue to be involved in the league.Being wound up means the club is no long in existence and is dead and buried and belongs to the history books.Admin effects just the club involved being wound up effects all the clubs in the Championship.

They could always bring these back.

Funny how things work out but I see Birmingham have been docked 9 points for spending to much .That could help the owls.

Not a dig, but aren't the Owls also facing issues due to FFP?

We have already had a soft embargo that got lifted, the difference between Wednesday and Brum is that we didn't sign some one for 2million and pay them 20,000 a week whilst still under the embargo.

We have a serious summer of balancing the books and will probably be under embargo at some point, only time will tell if releasing the 8-9 players and shipping out others will help!

If the nationals are to be believed, you lot, Villa and another came under some right scrutiny and attack from other chairmen at the Championship meetings recently.

Other clubs are demanding firm punishment for blatant flaunting of the rules.

You got me at 'if the nationals are to be believed' 😂

Which clubs have got beef with us pal?

I'm sure you know how to google.

Cheers pal

I did find this, I'll gather you  missed it:

'While the clubs declined to comment on Friday, privately insiders insist they will not  be found to have breached financial fair play rules'
