The bosses magazine 'The Economist' was quite correct when it stated:

“The vote for Brexit looks like—and to some extent is—a cry of fury by those who have borne the burden of European integration without benefiting proportionally from its advantages”.

yet again in between your phony class war tosh this bit, what a load of crap, its been mentioned time and time again that poorer people have benefitted from various courses and schemes and regeneration schemes, ive been on a fair few miself when unemployed, poorer (especially in the north) have had regeneration schemes.

and most from the EU (they always have the little EU sticker on the signs...you may have missed those ;)

I didn't say you could but your reply seems to confirm what I have said. One of the reasons another referendum should not be held so soon. Have another one by all means but it should come after the last one has been implemented.

the trouble with that is we WILL NOT have the benefits of membership that we have now, we lose the lot. and since the original referendum was not democratic as it was completely run and based on lies i believe there should be another.

You`re wrong. Whilst there is surprisingly little change in the way people who voted last time would vote again, the age profiles of Leave and Remain voters mean any majority for Leave probably disappeared mid to late January this year.

To put it in basic terms, the Grim Reaper is restoring sanity.

I believe that has already been factored in by Curtice. The grim reaper might be at play but those deaths are at the top end due to end of lifespan and a lot of those people probably didn't vote anyway. All that happens is that things shift and those who were not in the over 70s bracket now will be. Granted there will also be more young voters but that does not automatically mean a guaranteed remain vote and may just be like the last referendum. As the saying goes... be careful what you wish for.

If there is plenty of evidence that the population does not support leaving the EU, what possible purpose would be served by leaving the EU now?

Not only that but once we leave we would never again get the good deal we have now.

Leaving makes no sense whichever way you look at it.

But the question begs.. Should we be given benefits that other members can't have? After all it is meant to be a democratic socialist organisation.

Has parliament or the Electoral Commission said it was not democratic? After all parliament were in charge and it was overseen by them and theEC.

No, leaving makes no sense to remainers as they were always against it.

Btw, what do you mean by population? As it up to the voters that take part as you know the population can never be consulted for numerous reasons.

'Boycott Workfare' found that the majority of the exploitative unpaid labour schemes in the UK (which threatened the unemployed with benefit sanctions for up to three years if they didn't work for their benefits - considerably less than the minimum wage) were funded by the European Social Fund.

Is this what you mean by poorer people benefiting from our EU membership?

The EU champions workfare for the poor, to benefit the rich.

Analysis of these EU funded exploitation schemes revealed they had no impact in actually helping people find work.

The  European Social Fund is an instrument of oppression, used against the unemployed to maximise profits for big business.

Smash the ESF. Smash the EU. By any means necessary.

The bosses front EU has long been involved in the neoliberal restructuring of labour in an attempt to help capital's profitability crisis while maintaining the social order. The European Social Fund enabled workfare schemes to be imposed on the poor in order to attack and undermine the pay and conditions of the working class.

No socialist organisation would ever fund workfare. The EU has a long history of doing so.

No it should not only be after an implementation if that implementation risks being ruinous for the UK

There is absolutely nothing for you to base that argument on, given the illegality of the last referendum.

The only sensible courses of action are a long pause or revoke.

If the last referendum was illegal, why are all sides still trying to act on it ?
