Today Boris blasts ridiculous EU rules re: Smoked Kippers.... turns out, those rules were implemented by the UK Food Standards Agency :?

Let’s face it. He decided he needed a novelty prop for his speech. He decided it would be a kipper. Maybe there was some in-joke there about UKIP. Once he had decided to use that kipper as a prop nobody was going to stop him, even if it meant him being exposed as the stupid fat idiot liar he is.

Based on the parliamentary vote yesterday, does anyone actually believe that no deal can happen? The arithmetic just isn’t there. With TM’s deal thrice defeated, what is actually left?

If Boris Johnson is the next PM, he said he will suspend parliament if he has to for a no deal Brexit.  It should be interesting to see if he has the power to do that.

It seems that simple, good old fashioned incompetence is the most likely route to a no-deal exit.

We’ll carry on arguing with ourselves, and whoops! Out we go...

Parliament have voted against giving him the power to do that already haven't they.

Emergency extension from the EU followed by another referendum and then pretending the entire sorry thing never happened...  I hope.

its all lies, the whole thing, from decades ago "the real project fear", most things negative attributed to the EU are either complete fabrications or created by our own government.

Sadly so many people STILL believe them and are now so obsessed.

welcome to yesterday, Parliament voted to block that happening. Also Boris as far as im aware didnt say exactly that, somebody asked it and he said nothings off the table when it comes to a no deal

Someone will inevitably pick the deal up out of the bin, scribble May's name off it and present it back to the public as their own work.

Sufficient numbers of people will be fed up enough to vote it through Parliament.

You saw what went on with the vote yesterday?

I'd be surprised if he even bothers to mention it again now.

Interestingly on the first BBC debate, Johnson more or less told Emily Maitliss that his plan was to remove the Irish backstop from May’s deal and get the rest of it unaltered, through parliament. Since he was told that he had won the leadership election, he has now sacked off both May’s deal and the backstop and is not proposing any kind of deal at all.
