Let me make this perfectly clear - any personal attacks will get you a suspension. The moderating team is not going to continually issue warnings. If you cannot remain civil and post within forum rules then do not bother to contribute.

If it goes to China, western European countries should slap tariffs on the motors made by them coming into our market.

They already are tariffed by the EU, since there is no EU-China FTA.

Your leading politicians, however, are proposing to drop all tariffs post-Brexit.

Ooops.

Europe is geographically, agriculturally, technologically and culturally big enough to literally close itself to the entire world and sustain itself. We don't need the Americans and we don't need immigration from the developing world.

Mr Boot, ever the fact- and news-averse poster, is obviously not familiar with the ERG's/Rees-Mogg's go-to economist, Patrick Minford, whose plan for manufacturing in a no deal-Brexited UK, is to run down all UK manufacturing sectors "like the coal industry" was.

Quote marks, because Mr Minford stated so, not only publicly -and plenty of times-, but also in evidence before Parliament's own Select Committee.

As for Mr Farage, I'd have thought that anyone with a couple of grey cells to rub together, would have worked out his end game by now:

Who is Mr Farage's longtime main backer? One Aaron Banks.

What is Mr Banks' (main) business? Insurance.

Which sector stands to benefit the most, to the tune of untold billions, from a heavily-to-fully-privatised NHS?

QED

I've worked out your end game. It's not Brexit you are really opposed to - it's Jeremy Corbyn and a real socialist alternative to the EU and it's free market capitalism for business.

The second feeds the first.

And if this forum is any useful indication, objective fact-based informing cannot pierce the veil of bias maintained by the second, towards mitigating the first, either.

Trust in popular Yorkshire wisdom: one still cannot educate pork.

I'm Yorkshire born and bred. I have never heard any so-called 'Yorkshire wisdom' about not being able to educate pork.

Perhaps you may shed some light on what you really mean?

It could, but then that's not what the EU is about, thankfully. And population statistics (notably European countries' age pyramids) show that we in Europe do need immigration, from <wherever>. In managed form, naturally.

Pardon me if don't accept Morgan interviewing trump as someone trying to dig out facts.

But, back to the points he made. The NHS is on the table Tuesday, but off Wednesday. I don't buy it. Take away the fact he's a big fat liar, big pharma have a lot of power, and I'd fully expect any US president to bow to their pressure and have a go at the NHS now we've split from the herd. Why wouldn't they?

No, he was a business partner. There's nothing false about it.

You just don't get it do you, "was" a business partner, means he is no longer a business partner, false news.

Here is what has buggered up the car industry, big style. Governments pushing for all electric cars, 20 years before they are capable from taking over from petrol/diesel. The sheeples, at the slightest hint of a Government banning these cars have gone into melt down and have reduced buying new petrol/diesel cars. Nowt to do with Brexit in any way, much to do with the stupid Government. Of course ridiculous costs levied on the car manufacturers by Government has knocked the final nail into the coffin.

You don't simply don't comprehend the written word. They never said current business partner, they said "was", past tense. This is really basic stuff.
