The US isn't exactly going to get fat on the UK healthcare.

That's not the point though is it, unless you think we shouldn't have an NHS and we should have a healthcare system like the Americans.

The second feeds the first.

And if this forum is any useful indication, objective fact-based informing cannot pierce the veil of bias maintained by the second, towards mitigating the first, either.

Trust in popular Yorkshire wisdom: one still cannot educate pork.

The above post is unfortunately yet another example of how certain sections of the Remain side reveal their middle-class prejudices when defining a huge chunk of the population in terms of loathing and denigration.

European Unionists such as this are NOT a part of the solution. They are part of the problem.

And your thoughts on trump suggesting the NHS can be included in any trade deal (it was Tuesday  not Wednesday, no idea what his position will be on thursday)

More job losses.

They did vote vote for it by majority. They can continue to eat it.

Calling 50% plus if the county 'pork' is good enough reason to feed the alienation already there.

And it's 'you can't educate pork' btw.

Technically he’s not wrong. Looking at the level of educational attainment by proportion of the overall population. The majority are not sufficiently educated.

Trump just wished the Irish Taoiseach well with his border wall ;)

I guess he knows the US will be the first to cry foul if one doesn't exist if the UK leaves the CU :?

And on a day which should remind everyone of the horrors of war,we should be mindful that the existence of a European Parliament is far preferable to the power being with any nationalistic government.

Beware the rise of the far right in any country as history should have taught us where this leads.

As long as countries cooperate with the aim of raising the standards of all member states we lessen the chances of resorting to wars to settle our differences.
