If the main two parties think last night was bad , it will seem like a vicars tea party compared to whats coming down the line in three weeks time.

Completely  agree

Personally, I couldn't give a flying F what happens now. I've lost all respect (never had much) for politics.

I think the tide has turned, god knows how they will reverse the nations negativity. But they've  (politicians)  brought it upon themselves. TOUGH!!

BTW - No one in our household voted yesterday, asked several work colleagues if they had....reply "What's the point"

Sums it up perfectly.

That is the ONLY result that will deliver the result of the referendum. The 17.4m who voted leave want out and a clean break from the muppets in Brussels. What is stopping this happening is the large amount of Traitors in the house of commons. Not one of them is patriotic , they are  traitors.

Absolute and utter garbage.

The real traitors are those that will put our economy and lifestyles at risk purely to make themselves richer, and those willing to allow them to based on lies

Behind a paywall, but the title gives it all away.

I wonder if the government are going to be lining up the scapegoats?

Which is never followed by a reminder that 16.1 million voted to stay.

And even more rarely followed by a reminder that 29.6 million didn't vote to leave the EU!

Using your logic everyone who didn't vote in the referendum would have voted stay.

The damage from Brexit, to our reputation and economy is incalculable. It’s insane to pretend otherwise.

The results of yesterday's elections just go to show how fed up with the government and opposition people are. The Labour leader of Barnsley Council has said that in opposition they should be making progress not losing seats he blames the brexit mess.

Brexit wont put my lifestyle at risk what so ever. A few quid on the weekly shop isnt an issue , a few pence on the price of fuel , not a problem . Its a small price to pay for getting the hell out of the grasp of the foreigners in Brussels.

Bolsover is the perfect example of this. They voted by over 70% to Leave the EU , and Labour lost half of their seats there yesterday ,and lost control of a council they have controlled for over 40 years.

May’s interpretation of the reason for both the Conservatives and Labour losses is that the country wants Parliament to deliver Brexit.

She is deluded.

The majority either don’t want her version of Brexit or want to remain.

Her only escape route is to concede to much of Corbyn ‘s requirements so that she can claim to have delivered Brexit, and this would put the cat in with the pigeons as far as Brexit supporters are concerned.

Ultimately the Brexit camp must come to some agreement which can be pitched against a Remain in a further referendum.

More rarely still is a reminder that many of those who didn't vote to leave the EU were young children and babies!
