Using that logic? it has always been that way even before brexit, and also assumes that the person with a tenner also loses that tenner. Doesn't really mean anything as it depends on why that person has lost a tenner in the first place.

Sigh.....

You're right though, if times were tight then instant coffee would be an option, and meals in restaurants would be a distant memory surely.

Where I live we have a local 'independent' party, it is effectively a protest vote against the main partys. It does well in the city elections, but it has not got the depth of strength to elect an MP.

You could not make it up, but the electorate fall for it, because there is no alternative choice.

We do have it good, yet people are negative.

The Brexit party has a former member of the Revolutionary Communist Party as a candidate in the EU parliamentary elections.

Alka Sehgal Cuthbert believes that the Brexit vote was a working class revolt that could lead to a surge in support for socialism.

She says she is not standing for Nigel Farage.

George Galloway is going to vote for the Brexit party, again not to support Farage but to help secure the Lexit so many voted for.

Speaking of socialists....

UK should 'cool down', drop Brexit - Socialist candidate to head EU Commission:

Thanks for sharing, I think we have a problem in so much we have an European block which wishes to control us and they've convinced a considerable amount of voters in this country to believe they are compatible with democracy.

This will eventually lead to a European (Soviet) Union, in fact, we aren't far off it The population of the UK needs to get educated in democracy and toot sweet..

making everybody worse off (any amount) based on lies and nonsense should be counted as treason, there was NO valid truthful facts on why we should actually leave

Why do we have to pay £39 billion to leave then? The £39 billion is our subscription to what we should be paying if we remained a member.

How can you say there was no valid reason to leave? If that was the case the government wouldn't have asked the question in the first place.

the 39 billion isnt to leave, thats money thats already promised we'd pay generally you dont generally reign on your debts?

as for why ask the question...one simple reason, Cameron thought by asking it he would placate the eurosceptics in his party and that he'd win...stupidity. BUT theres still not one valid reason any brexiters have given that stands up to scrutiny as to why we actually should leave and possibly make ourselves poorer. Everything given is based on lies, halftruths, soundbites and personal fantasy metered out by extremists.

Regardless of whether you agree with Farage or not, a vote for the Brexit party gives him support.

You've been listening to the diatribe the MSM spews out all the time. The question stands, why do we need to pay £39 Billion, don't say because that's what we owe, ask yourself the question, why do we owe it, it really isn't that difficult.

If you go out with your mate and he asks you if you can lend him £100 and he says he'll pay you £30 back will you say that's ok then, wake up will you.

total crap as usual, that isnt an excuse to us needing to leave thats claptrap spouted by brextremists. and once you start with the term MSM you instantly lose my interest

we pay money to the EU so what

we pay more than some, less than others so what

we help lesser members so what

we have a bigger economy than most so pay more...thats fair.

you still havent given a proper reasoned fact filled reason for leaving the EU and possibly making us poorer in the process just a boohoo story. and ive seen your week filled arguements on other threads so i wont be spending weeks "debating" with you

Debate the post, not the poster.

Fact of the matter is this, the EU takes from the richer countries and gives to the poorer countries, that's fine as long as we don't have problems at home, the issue with your argument is this, we have an issue with our own people sleeping on the street and I think we should help them before we help people in Sofia or Bucharest. Especially when some of the people sleeping rough on our streets have served the country.

And just because you and your mates lost the debate you already mentioned, don't take it to heart.

we have plenty of money...just the tories have taken most of it, blaming the EU is a smokescreen, again, you have given nothing to make me think its a well thought out reason for leaving the EU
