You may be on the money, if you are talking of those who pay little in, but take a great deal out. As a regular visitor to the South of Ireland, their roads have benefited greatly from EU money (11 billion of our money each year) if you please.  No doubt there are many other Countries who pay pepercorn momey in and are rewarded with swathes of EU money to fund God knows what schemes.

How and why have you come to this conclusion?

I'll leave this here, as I believe education should be for all and not just the few.

You made a personal attack on a post by ANGELFIRE1 ("Usual paranoid gibberish from a brextremist") although the content of ANGELFIRE1's  post regarding contributors and receivers of EU funding was correct.

its the way it is portrayed, twisting it into the usual negative connotation i was posting about, as i said its a completely fair way of running things in my eyes, those with more money pay more money and pay to help the little guys. but it was portrayed as us being robbed to somehow give to those that dont need it, which isnt the case....ie:- paranoid

and stop trying to get people banned, it wasnt a personal attack, i will out ALL brextremists when they say such lies and rubbish which they do

Yes, to the capitalist class.

The EU was set up to protect the interests of big Capital.

No - to encourage co-operation and avoid wars that had ravaged Europe for centuries.

Do you want to answer my question?

Is it fairer that those EU countries with more wealth and a better economy pay more and help out the poorer and weaker ones?

Is it fair that we have a welfare state where taxpayers that pay more help those less fortunate than themselves?

both seem the same...and fair to me?

or is it better that the richer takes off the poorer and gives nothing to help?
