Surely if the electorate choose to change their minds then that should be acted on? All this government is doing is giving the electorate a chance to confirm their choice or change their minds.

 

Anyone who stands in the way of that is undemocratic.

That's right, because there are many flavours of Leaving, and only one flavour of Remaining. The 'Leave camp' consists of half of the electorate, to imagine they have one overriding opinion and attitude is clearly impossible. Soubry and Corbyn are allegedly in the same camp, and I think, they have differing viewpoints....

Perhaps the right wing press were struck by the glaring lack of diversity among those attending yesterday's People's Vote March and decided it wasn't representative enough of the UK population to warrant a front page story?

If you look at the government’s impact assessments actually it equates to exactly that. There no part of our lives that would not be impacted in some way. In some respects quite severely.

With the enormous support for Remain in recent marches and the appalling turnout for Nige Farage's tour... seems to me public opinion has shifted significantly. Not going back to the people for a second referendum is just short of treason.
