David Cameron wasn't a past Prime Minister on 23rd June 2016 when the democratic UK people voted to leave the EU.  You are a dishonest person who has no respect for democracy.  Honest people respect democratic decisions regardless whether  the democratic decision made by the majority  is what they personally voted for.

But you keep ignoring the fact that democracy includes the right to change your mind - nowhere does it say that a previous choice must be acted upon before changing your mind.

Surely if the electorate choose to change their minds then that should be acted on? All this government is doing is giving the electorate a chance to confirm their choice or change their minds.

Anyone who stands in the way of that is undemocratic.

It is for a lot of people unfortunately. It will impact and change many aspects of daily life for a lot of people.

Thats not extreme. That’s telling it how it is.

Youve  got a bit of a nerve to suggest it will be fine. It won’t be fine.

Yes, it will impact many things.

Doesthat equate to a crippled country, on its knees? No.

But when soubry doesn’t vote for it, she’s a traitor,

I know, it’s almost like there isn’t a unified position from the leave camp.

That's right, because there are many flavours of Leaving, and only one flavour of Remaining. The 'Leave camp' consists of half of the electorate, to imagine they have one overriding opinion and attitude is clearly impossible. Soubry and Corbyn are allegedly in the same camp, and I think, they have differing viewpoints....

Even at the time of the referendum, the ‘Leave camp’ consisted of less than 37% of the electorate.

Probably a lot less now! 😉

The right wing press obviously see yesterday's march in London as significant hence their decision to keep it off their front pages.

The Mail on Sunday, Express, Telegraph and Times make no mention of it on any of their front covers.

In other news, the Revoke Article 50 perition has just passed the 5 million mark. How is the no deal petition doing?

Perhaps the right wing press were struck by the glaring lack of diversity among those attending yesterday's People's Vote March and decided it wasn't representative enough of the UK population to warrant a front page story?

Of course they were. It was a poll for leavers. Even then, leavers couldn’t even get 40% of the electorate in their own poll!

It was a poll for everyone. You could pick Leave or Remain.

But, remember to tell us about it being only advisory.

If you look at the government’s impact assessments actually it equates to exactly that. There no part of our lives that would not be impacted in some way. In some respects quite severely.

With the enormous support for Remain in recent marches and the appalling turnout for Nige Farage's tour... seems to me public opinion has shifted significantly. Not going back to the people for a second referendum is just short of treason.
